You’ve partied all weekend, been in the sun all day, listened to amazing music, and chances are, you’re feeling a bit rough. It’s time to say goodbye to the desert and say hello to reality. And although I can’t cure your Coachella withdrawals, I’ve come up with a list of how to recover from the Coachella hangover. Keep reading! Shower Especially for all the campers out there, I suggest doing this ASAP. I usually like to shower as soon as I get up when I’m hungover since it instantly revives and refreshes me. After scrubbing myself clean, a shower always makes me feel like a human again! Deep Condition Even after Day 1, my hair felt crunchy, sandy, and parched from the dessert elements. Reach for a deep conditioning mask or even some coconut oil to bring your hair back to life. Get a Facial Get a mask and hydrate your skin. Feel free to grab a paper mask, but you can even grab strips of paper towels and soak them in your fave face oil or serum to make a DIY paper mask! Once the paper towels are saturated, place them on your face (avoiding your eyes, lips, and nose of course) and just relax…. Switch Out Your Mani Say goodbye to your chipped or worn down mani and show your hands and feet some TLC. Even if you don’t have time for a mani/pedi, sometimes just removing the old chipped nail polish feels just as good. Hydrate & Detox The best thing you can do to cure a hangover is to hydrate. Drinks with electrolytes are the best, so drink coconut water, juice, or some good ol’ water to revive your dehydrated body. If you need to eat hangover food (i.e. fast food), do it as a fast fix.
