So I FINALLY got my hands on this much hyped contour palette. It comes with 6 shades, 3 for highlighting and 3 for contouring. Two of the highlighting shades are matte (great for setting your under eyes for added brightness) and the third highlighter is shimmery (for the tops of your cheeks). For the seasoned makeup lover, you can really dial up or down the intensity with ease, but for the beginner, I could see this palette being a little overwhelming.
Pigmentation is great and it blends really nicely on the skin. With the variety of shades in the palette, it caters to all types of skin tones. I could totally see myself bringing this palette with me on vacay, but kinda wished it came in a sturdier case and a mirror.
Personally, I think this palette is amazing to have on hand (and gorgeous to look at too), but if you are starting out, there are many similar products from other brands where you can pick and choose what you really need.

I’ve been looking for a palette like this, but like you said there are so many on the market. I can’t wait t go check this one out over the weekend. How did you find the darker shades?

Sorry for the confusion, there is only one version of this palette, but there are other brands that carry individual products that have the same effect. Hope that helps! xx

I’m only curious about the taupe-y contour shade from this palette. Do you have any favorites for contouring on our warm medium-tan skin?
Beauty Vanity says
I only use cool-toned contours when I’m not going for a bronzed look, but my favorite lately has been this cream contour from MAC (Copper Beech). xx

It’s nice that there is the contouring and highlighting shades all in one compact. It’s rare to find a matte highlighting shade, and this one has two!
