Aquaphor has been my tried and true favorite lip balm for years and it’s been rare that I have strayed away from it. Enter Dior Crème de Rose, the sister product of the legendary Crème Abricot. I thought with the winter months coming up, another lip balm couldn’t hurt.
This balm goes on clear and is instantly absorbed as soon as it’s applied, a great balm to wear underneath matte lipsticks. I like my balms a little glossier though, so I find a couple of layers work best for me. It’s mildly rose scented and it does an awesome of job of everyday hydration.
Packing feels luxurious and I especially love the detailing at the circumference. Maybe it’s just me, but the packaging looks and feels like ivory (I know it’s probably not) and it gives me that daily glam factor. I also love how it feels sturdy enough to take a beating in my endless pit of a handbag.
The Crème de Rose is available at Sephora for $27. Yes, a little pricey for lip balm, but well worth checking out.
I love using Aquaphor! It works best for my chapped lips. Perhaps I will give this a try sometime! Or I’ll stick to nature and use the sap from a tree lol. Can’t wait to see the videos/photos you post! ; )
