Four Seasons Silicon Valley Spa Skin Authority Review
I was invited not too long ago to visit the Four Seasons for an Advanced Age Defying Facial and I couldn’t resist paying the Four Seasons a visit. I’ve been there a few times before to eat at Quattro and it’s worth a visit just for the food alone!
Anyway, if you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you know that my skin has been an issue for me and I promised I would keep you updated with how it’s been going. Although I’ve noticed my breakouts are less frequent now that I’m getting older, I’m still getting the monthly hormonal breakout with dark scarring. My routine wasn’t anything life changing, I was just using products that seemed to keep the breakouts from flaring up too much.
I went to the spa midday, so it was pretty quiet and it was a nice retreat during my busy work week. The spa was just as I expected: modern, serene and had such welcoming touches that made me want to stay even longer!
I indulged in some tea and munched on some nuts and chocolate before and after my treatment.

The spa is equipped with showers, a locker room, and a sauna, so it’s recommended to come early to enjoy the entire facility.
The treatment room where I was lead to was quiet and dim, and it felt so relaxing to lie in a warm bed during the facial.
The Advanced Age Defying Facial felt very thorough and although I’m in my late twenties, I really enjoyed all the treatments and masks that came along with the facial. In addition to being cleansed, I was treated to a massage, a peel, and a green peel-off mask that locked in all the nutrients from the skincare on my face.
After leaving the facial, my skin felt so plump, clean, moisturized, and glowing.
Skin Authority was recently added to the spa, so I was lucky enough to receive a few products to try. I had a little taste of how the products felt on my skin during the facial, so I was eager to use the products at home.
Only after two weeks, I already saw a major difference in my skin. Glycolic acid and retinol are in most of the products I received in the Youthful Skin Kit, and with the use of these 5 products daily, it’s been glowing ever since. My scars are lightened, and dare I say, I haven’t broken out since! I honestly look forward to using these products everyday, knowing how well my skin has been reacting.
For a special event coming up, I highly recommend visiting Four Seasons Silicon Valley to get this facial – it’s a great kick starter to a new skin care routine. The Advanced Age Defying Facial costs $195, but there are other treatments available like manicures and massages at the spa.
