December is usually a time for me to bring out the glitz and the glam and these products did just that for me this month. You may recognize most of these products from posts this past month, but a couple are new to the blog.
LORAC Pro Palette: One of my main reasons why I love this palette so much is the versatility. You can easily create a day look using the more neutral shades and you can create a night look just as easily with the shades to the right. The palette is so compact that I only need to take this one palette with me (shocker!) when I go on a trip. There are so many different looks I can create and I’m never searching for another color that I wish I brought with me. My favorite shades are Cream, Light Bronze, and Garnet (these shades are so up my alley).
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette: Need I say more? You can checkout my review here.
NYC Smooth Skin Bronzing Face Powder Sunny: I know what you’re thinking, but I swear this bronzing powder is amazing! It is so hard to find a matte drugstore bronzer, let alone a shade that is perfect for bronzing and contouring, but this one is it! Did I mention that it is around $2? Winning.
Trina Makeup Pouch: I got this at Nordstrom Rack months ago. The bright pink pouch lights up the most dismal winter days. 🙂
Make Up Forever HD Invisible Cover Foundation: My HG foundation. It makes my skin look absolutely flawless in photographs and there is enough yellow pigment in it to match my skin tone perfectly. I don’t know if any one suffers a similar dilemma, but it is so hard to find foundations yellow enough. Might be a little too dewy for oily skin, but with the winter climate drying up my skin, it’s perfect for me this season.
Shiseido Eyelash Curler: Monolid girls, this eyelash curler is for you. I also own the Shu Uemura eyelash curler (which I still love, not going to lie), but the curvature of the Shiseido head is much flatter, making it easier for me to curl every single lash. Another bonus? The pad replacements are easily found at Sephora, Macy’s, or Nordstrom.
Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara, Maybelline Black Drama Falsies Mascara, BH Cosmetics Liquid Liner: The usual suspects. The Maybelline mascara holds my curl (MUST be waterproof!!) and the Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara and BH Cosmetics Liquid Liner does not smudge all day.

I struggle with getting the right yellow/green in my foundation too. What shade do you wear in MUFE? I still haven’t found a match from the HD line yet. I’ve been wearing the Hourglass palette regularly. Such a subtle but very impressive difference in my face makeup!

Shade 153 🙂 NARS has really yellow toned foundations too, the Sheer Glow foundation is pretty comparable
