In celebration of Pride month, I stopped by the Kiehl’s boutique on Fillmore to check out Kiehl’s newest launches. Started as an apothecary in NYC in 1851, Kiehl’s is a skincare powerhouse brand bringing nature and science together in its products. The Kiehl’s location on Fillmore is actually one of the oldest stores! Whenever I visit, the staff is always informative about my skin type and what products I need. This time, they tested my skin with a device and found that it was super dehydrated at 28% (even after drinking a whole bottle of water before my appointment) and reconfirmed my skin type (combination oily).

The two products that stood out to me the most were the Clearly Corrective™ Dark Spot Solution and the new Glow Formula Skin Hydrator. I’m still testing out another Murad dark spot serum, but I really want to see if their Clearly Corrective line really works. The essence and serum absorbed really quickly and felt really nice on my skin.
As for the Glow Hydrator, it gives a really soft glow to the skin. It’s not meant to be makeup or look like an illuminating primer, so I think it’ll be a good moisturizer to use for no makeup days when I want my skin to look extra healthy. But for dryer skin types, I could imagine this working out great as an extra boost underneath makeup.
