No complicated makeup tutorial needed.
Whether you’re in a bar sipping bubbly with a room full of strangers or out with your friends, you deserve to sparkle and shine.
To be totally honest, this was the first NYE that I actually celebrated–in my entire life. Even though NYE is long gone, I wanted to share this easy but glam makeup look I wore for NYE. You seriously can never go wrong with bronzey eyes and a metallic plum lip for any occasion this winter season.
For the face, I went with my usual Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation (not photographed), Kosas Color and Light palette (not photographed), Bite Beauty limited edition Amuse Bouche lippie in “Spiced Plum” and my trusty Marc Jacobs Eyeconic Eyeshadow Palette in “Glambition.”
With the Marc Jacobs eyeshadow palette, I like to first use the matte camel shade (second shade from left to right) as a base, then blend the darker brown shade (fourth shade) into my crease. Then, I like to sweep the bronze shade (third shade) all over my lid and the shimmery pink shade (fifth shade) in the inner corners of my eyes. This is my favorite eye look at the moment because it’s so versatile and subtle enough for everyday wear.

For the accents, I decided to go with a burgundy red nail lacquer from Urban Outfitters ( in”Spiked Punch“) and my new signature scent “Opera” from Voyage et Cie, which I picked up from The Reformation. It’s a warm, spicy vanilla scent that is a tad bit sweet but in a very sophisticated, grown-up way.
