With everyone planning for their summer holidays, L’Occitane has gotten the travel minis figured out for you. I’m not the type to pack light when it comes to beauty products mainly because I have my tried and true products that I love, and to be honest, I don’t like to rely on the samples I find at hotels. Sometimes they work, but most of the time, they don’t. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve used a hotel conditioner and mid-shower, I find out it’s only enough for half my head!
Luckily, the L’Occitane 14-Piece Summer Treasures set arrived right before my mini getaway to Napa. There’s a handful of products I’ve tried and loved from L’Occitane, which includes their hand creams, shower gels, oils, and lotions – and all have worked beautifully with my dry skin. The brand is based in Provence, so all their products feel very Provencal and it’s almost a treat to use since it reminds me of my trip to France so much. So when I started packing, I realized this set basically has every bath & body need.
Body wash? Check.
Lotion? Check.
Hand cream? Check.
Shampoo and conditioner? Check, check.
Body oil? Check, check, check!
The almond line is one of my favorites, so I was thrilled to find a mini Almond Shower Oil. It leaves my skin so soft after I shower and the scent is so heavenly!
As for face products, there are a few in this set that I decided to bring with me. It was my first time trying these, but I found the Immortelle Essential Water to be really gentle on my skin and it effectively removed any excess makeup on my face. The Peony Perfecting Face Cream also proved to be moisturizing enough to use as a night cream. My skin immediately soaked up the moisturizer and my skin felt soft and velvety. The Shea Butter Lip Balm was also a perfect size to toss in my shoulder bag and when used at night, it left my lips flake-free by morning.
