Who wouldn’t want to look like a glowy, bare-faced off-duty model?
Let’s face it. We all want that fresh, glowy, bare-faced off-duty model look when we step out the door in the morning. However, we aren’t always blessed with good skin days.
This is the part where makeup comes to the rescue.
On days where I don’t feel like wearing a lot of makeup, I reach for a lightweight foundation that has ample coverage to mask any discoloration, a lash-boosting mascara, and a bronzy highlighter to add some brightness and tone back into my face.

TO START
After moisturizing and applying SPF, I will dot half a pump of this Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation on my face and carefully blend it out with my trusty buffing brush. I swear, it has great staying power and will banish shine for nearly the entire day.
THE IN-BETWEEN
Next, I will smooth some Glossier Coconut Balm Dotcom and Henne Organics Bare Luxury Lip Tint on my lips, curl my lashes, and apply this Honest Beauty Truly Lush Mascara + Lash Primer to accentuate the eyes. Forgive me, but I’m cursed with stick-straight, short lashes so this mascara is a godsend in building up the fullness and length in my lashes.
THE FINAL FLOURISH
For the last touches to this fresh-faced makeup look, I love to swipe Glossier’s Haloscope Highlighter in Topaz on the high points of my cheeks (in a C-shape, drawing from the cheekbone to the tail of the brow), the bridge of my nose, and my cupids bow. The last thing I like to do to tie the makeup look together, is finish off with a fragrance. Selecting a fragrance in the morning is one of my favorite things to do. Lately, I’ve been obsessed with this Rose Geranium Natural Fragrance from The Stell’s collaboration with Soul Sunday.
