Vegan Jumbo Eye Pencil Dupe

100% Pure Eye Creamstick Swatches and Review (c/o)

My love affair with cream eyeshadows began over a year ago. I mean who doesn’t love a product that you can swipe, blend, and go? I actually find these much quicker to use (vs. powder eyeshadows) when I’m in a rush!

The Eye Creamsticks are a new release from 100% Pure that contain vitamins, antioxidants, and fruit pigments. There are 6 shades available and come in a twist-up (no sharpening required).

Like the name states, the Eye Creamsticks are really creamy to apply. All have a shimmery finish, while Naked Glimmer contains a combination of glitter and shimmer.

Probably because of my skin tone, the colors don’t exactly pop – while they apply pigmented, the shades show up more subdued on me. Although Eggplant and Forest may look vibrant-ish in my swatches below, when blended out, all the shades are a gentle wash of color on my lids. Definitely not complaining if these are for everyday use, but not something I’d pick up for a glam look.

The texture and finish remind me an awful lot of the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils (minus the huge color selection), so if you’re in love with the NYX version, you might want to try these especially if you’re transitioning over to vegan makeup.

Just like the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils, these crease on me a little (I blame my hooded eyes), but the color stays put for a long time. They don’t set or have the amazing staying power that the Make Up Forever Aqua Cream Eyeshadows or Mally Evercolor Shadow Sticks do (both of which I can wear solo), but I’ve been using these Eye Creamsticks as a base under my powder eyeshadows and all work great as a primer.

Out of this bunch, the shades I’ve been reaching for the most have been Ecru Shimmer and Naked Glimmer.
