100% Pure Pretty Naked Palette Swatches & Review
Hello again!  I’ve really missed all of you…like, really really. 🙂
I have a bunch of goodies to show you guys in the next coming weeks, including this exciting beauty from 100% Pure.
You’ve heard me talk about this brand (they’re proudly vegan!) before and they have some hidden gems like the Pretty Naked Palette.
This palette is made from fruit and vegetable pigments (amazing, right!?) with antioxidants and vitamins for your skin.
In this palette is a highlighter, blush, and three eyeshadows all of which are very neutral and natural.
The tones and colors aren’t my ideal shades, but I’ve been using this palette for the past week and these are the types of shades I’d go for in a “no makeup” makeup look. Â I kinda wish there was a matte medium brown, but I think the shadows are useful when you want a no-fuss quick wash of color over the lids.
The luminizer is very very subtle so I’ve been mixing the blush and the luminizer all over my cheeks. Â The luminizer is pretty on the skin but it gives such a barely there effect (which is not what I want when it comes to highlighters), so for me, it’s not even worth it to use it alone. Â I do really like both of them mixed together though!
Like I’ve said earlier, these aren’t the types of shades I ncessarily go for, so using all three in a look wouldn’t look good on me. Â But for those days when I want something quick and natural, I would use either Toffee or Chestnut on the lid and Flaxseed as my base color.
The texture of the shadows are very soft, similar to Pacifica’s eyeshadows.  Perhaps it’s the all natural ingredients vegan eyeshadows use, but I’ve noticed with vegan eyeshadows and blushes, the pigmentation is there, it’s just the colors aren’t as vibrant as conventional eyeshadows.  With primer, the eyeshadows and blushes had pretty good wear time.

What a gorgeous super natural palette! I have never tried any types of vegan/vegetarian make up products before, they aren’t as commonly sold here and I haven’t bothered ordering any! I really like the shades in this palette although I could totally use one or two darker neutral tones! I’ve often been put off by vegan shadows as sometimes they don’t seem be to as exciting in color range or apparently tend to not be as pigmented. However I really should give some vegan products a try as I’m sure I can make them work and it’s always interesting to try something different and better for the environment!

Same there! If they could come out with a more vibrant neutral palette (Naked is a good example of that), I think a lot more people would be drawn to use their eyeshadows more.

This palette looks so pretty, like a pastel version of the Naked 3. It’s too bad the pigmentation isn’t quite there yet as I love the eco-friendly concept and the colors.

Oh yeah, you’re right…I didn’t even make that connection with Naked 3! I am happy with the payoff and pigmentation, I just wish they were slightly more vibrant in color.

I’ve never really looked into vegan/vegetarian makeup but this palette looks really pretty. I especially like the look of ‘Toffee’ and it seems like it would be a good one to take on holiday when you’re cutting down on space! xx

Vegan makeup companies are really stepping it up! Most of my makeup is still not vegan, but it’s nice to know that the quality is continuing to improve.
