There’s been one thing on my mind since last week. WTF happened to my skin!?
My skin has not been happy lately…from the PMS to the indulgences over Valentine’s Day weekend, I’m suffering the consequences.
You guys know I’m open to trying anything when it comes to my skin. How is it that at 30, I still have acne?!
My skin was doing so well after my last facial, but since I haven’t been in a month, I have to rely on super effective products – which is why I’ve talked about my love for med spa skincare. SkinStore is one of my favorite places to browse if you’re looking for serious non-prescription skincare. I found a few items that caught my eye and I thought I’d share it with you!

ERNO LASZLO HYDRA-THERAPY BESPOKE CLEANSING SET
With this set, there are no excuses not to double cleanse at night. Can’t wait to try this because ever since getting microdermabrasion treatments, my skin has been SO dry.
PAULA’S CHOICE CLINICAL 1% RETINOL TREATMENT
I’ve heard from multiple skincare experts to use retinol. Basically retinol refines pore size, reduces deep wrinkles, fine lines, and brown spots. I’ve also heard that retinol helps with breakouts too. Win-win!
DCL AHA LIGHTENING GEL
After a vicious cycle of acne, I’m always left with a brown spot. I need all the help I can get to lighten my acne scarring.
CANE AND AUSTIN PRIME AND PROTECT
This will come really handy at Coachella. The SPF 50 will be perfect for the dessert! Based on reviews, I have heard that for some people, it breaks down foundation at the end of the day and for others, it keeps the skin really matte. Will have to really test it to give a full review.
JUICE BEAUTY GREEN APPLE BLEMISH CLEARING PEEL
Claims to help with acne, so you can bet I’ll be trying this soon!

PAULA’S CHOICE RESIST WEIGHTLESS ADVANCED REPAIRING TONER
For those with adult acne, this toner claims to help with anti-aging by building collagen for firmer skin and calms the skin from breakouts. Use 2x everyday after cleansing.
PAULA’S CHOICE RESIST DAILY PORE-REFINING TREATMENT 2% BHA
This one is also great for adult acne. It has salicylic acid to cleanse pores and stimulates collagen too. Use after toner.
CANE AND AUSTIN RETEXTURIZING TREATMENT PADS
SO excited to try this one. This reduces pore size, wrinkles, and acne scarring. My skin loves glycolic acid so much and the fact that it also contains salicylic acid is a total bonus. Glycolic acid can be strong on the skin, so I don’t think I’d use this everyday.

SUNDARI CHAMOMILE EYE OIL
I’m so paranoid about getting wrinkles under my eyes, so I prefer using really moisturizing (usually thick) eye creams. I’ve never tried an eye oil before, but it got amazing reviews on SkinStore. The eye oil acts as a serum to nourish the skin, so you can also layer an eye cream on top.
PAULA’S CHOICE RESIST C15 SUPER BOOSTER
I’m obsessed with Vitamin C after an esthetician recommended it a few years ago. In case you didn’t know Vit C evens skin tone and can help reveal younger looking skin. This serum is 15% Vit C, so I think I’d probably use this at night. You can also pair this with another serum.
PAULA’S CHOICE RESIST ULTRA-LIGHT SUPER ANTIOXIDANT CONCENTRATE SERUM
This serum also contains Vit C, but I really liked how this one says “ulta-light,” which I thought would be great for day wear. There’s also hyaluronic acid in this one, so that’ll help my dry skin at the moment.

BABY QUASAR MD BLUE
OMG. If this works for me, I’ll be forever thankful.
I’ve heard of laser treatments for acne, but haven’t gotten the chance to try it yet. Apparently, the blue light penetrates the skin and kills the bacteria in your pores. It looks really easy to use and says to do 1-3 treatments per week.

So that’s my SkinStore haul! Give this site a browse if you’re serious about anti-aging and acne. There’s a lot of brands on SkinStore that spas use, so I feel good knowing that I’m using products that dermatologists and estheticians recommend.
