Antica Farmacista Diffuser Damascena Rose, Orris & Oud Review (c/o)
I’ll be the first to say that I’m a candle girl. I always like to light some up at the end of the night because I find it so soothing and relaxing.
I’m all for a room smelling nice, so I couldn’t say no when Antica Farmacista sent me this diffuser. But I have to admit, I’ve never bought a diffuser. I know you stick the reeds into the bottle, but then what?
Let me tell you, this stuff is potent. No, not in a way where your nose burns because the scent is so strong, but it’s a lovely scent that lingers longer than candles. The top notes are rose, but it’s mixed with amber and a bit of fruitiness, not something that your grandma would wear. I had the diffuser open for about a month now and I haven’t gone nose blind yet – it smells just as good as it did on day 1!
Now that I’m more familiar with diffusers, I think I’ll stick with candles for ambience, but diffusers will be my way of keeping my home smelling lovely longer.
The Antica Farmacista Diffuser Damascena Rose is available between $26 to $94 at AnticaFarmacista.com, Nordstrom, Amazon, Bergdorf Goodman, Saks, and Neiman Marcus.

I didn’t even know what I was missing! :O

This sounds lovely. There are certain things (i.e. lingering bacon smells) that even candles can’t mask. Something stronger like this would be ideal for that!

mmm bacon…hahah i love that you mentioned that but yes, it’s so true!!! It takes candles a while to eat through those types of smells
