bareMinerals Brushes Review (c/o)
My brush collection keeps on growing and growing and even so, I find myself reaching for the same ones. I’m proud to say my everyday brushes are a mixture of drugstore and high-end, but every now and then it’s nice to add some new brushes into the mix.
I tried bareMinerals brushes years ago, back when it came in the original foundation kit. I thought the brush was okay but after years of wear, I eventually threw it out.
In come these new bareMinerals brushes and they feel/look so luxe! All these brushes are made up of synthetic fibers, which can be used on powders and creams.
Supreme Finisher Brush | Complexion Perfector Brush
I really enjoyed using the Supreme Finisher Brush with my face powders. It’s fluffy without being overly dense and added a good amount of face powder to keep my face from looking too caked on.
The Complexion Perfector Brush did a good job, but honestly, nothing can replace my Beauty Blender right now. If you love flat foundation brushes, you might like this one.
Soft Curve Face and Cheek Brush | Dual Finish Blush and Contour Brush
By far, the Soft Curve Face and Cheek Brush was the most interesting to use. The bristles are feathered out and curved to fit the surface of your cheek. It deposits a very small amount of product on the skin, so I had to use it a couple times to get the blush as intense as I wanted. Definitely will take some getting used to.
For the Dual finish Blush and Contour Brush, I loved using this brush as a small powder brush to set my concealer underneath my eyes and around my nose. The size helps me get into the crevices and I can use this brush if I decide to bake my powders too.
Blurring Buffer Brush | Smoky Smudger Brush | Gorgeous Glide On Liner Brush | Detail Shader Brush
I was most disappointed with the Blurring Buffer Brush. I love kabuki type brushes so I had a lot of expectation with this one. I tried buffing concealer with it, but the bristles were to short, too stiff and the brush was too dense to get a “blurred” effect.
The Smoky Smudger Brush and Gorgeous Glide On Liner Brush are new staples in my everyday brush collection. The smudger brush does exactly what it should and I love smoking out my bottom lash line. The liner brush picks up SO much powder when I’m doing my brows and it applies the powder precisely with a lot of pigment. LOVE!
For the Detailed Shader Brush, I’ve been using it to clean and sharpen up my eyeliner when I go for a dramatic wing. Because of its curved tip, it’s really easy to apply concealer just below my wing.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for new high-end brushes to add to your collection. In fact, Nordstrom is having a free gift with purchase when you buy a bareMinerals brush.

I’ve used the Bare Minerals Flawless Face brush for years, alongside my original minerals, the quality is fab. I love the look of the dual contour and blush one.
