Last month, I co-hosted my very first beauty event in SF celebrating the Givenchy Beauty Launch at the SF Barneys. I feel very honored to have been a part of this launch since it was one of three counters at Barneys in the US! At this event, we invited fellow makeup lovers to try out the Givenchy products and get makeovers.

Products I picked up from the event: Fluid Foundation Airy-Light Mat Radiance SPF 20 #7 | Le Vernis Intense Color Nail Lacquer #3 | Magic Khol Eye Liner Pencil | Noir Couture 4 in 1 Mascara
The Fluid Foundation Airy-Light Mat Radiance SPF 20 is formatted for oilier skin types, but is not completely matte like other matte foundations I’ve tried (it sets semi-matte). Foundation lasts about 6 – 7 hours on my skin and I have to powder 3 hours after application. I’m currently in between shades, so I have to mix #7 with a lighter foundation.
Le Vernis Intense Color Nail Lacquer in #3 isn’t my favorite shade, but the formulation is beautiful. My favorite part of this polish is the brush: it’s wide, shorter, and the brush tip is rounded making it super easy to create a crisp edge around the nail bed. I’ll definitely be looking at other shades in this line – I mean how gorgeous was that red?
The Magic Khol Eye Liner Pencil is harder than the Urban Decay 24/7 liner but I find this eyeliner excellent for smoking out. If you’re looking for the easiest smokey eye, just line your eyes with this pencil and smudge away.
The Noir Couture 4 in 1 Mascara wand is quite unique and I find that I can really get in between my lashes to separate and define each one. If you click on the link, you can see the curvature detail of the wand. It doesn’t hold my curl as well as I liked (it’s not waterproof), but pigmentation is really black and I really do love the definition it gives my lashes.
