BH Cosmetics Liquid Lipstick Review & Swatches (c/o)
These liquid lipsticks from BH Cosmetics landed in my mailbox last week and I have to say, whenever I think of BH, I think of those large eyeshadow palettes. Remember those?
Anyway, The BH Cosmetics Liquid lipsticks are infused with Vitamin E that set matte. I applied just one coat and it was already super opaque – no extra coats needed!
It doesn’t set as fast as other liquid lipsticks I’ve tried (give it at least 5 minutes), but that certainly helps when you need some time to clean up the lines.
I tend to like liquid lipsticks that set, so I immediately liked the formula. The texture feels comfortable to wear, it isn’t drying at all, and it lasts for a long time.
However, once it sets, these liquid lipsticks can be a pain to take off and I had to use an oil-based makeup remover to take these off.
Out of the three liquid lipsticks that were sent to me, I liked Lust (brick red) the best. Muse was a little too cool and grey for my skin tone (I looked dead) and Serena was a beautiful coral nude.
The lipsticks swatch slightly darker than what it looks like in the tube, so bear that in mind when you’re trying to choose which shade to buy.

The doe foot applicator was pretty average, similar to the NYX applicators without a whole lot of cushion. I used the applicator to lay most of the color on and use a more precise lip brush to clean up the lines.
All in all, I think the BH Cosmetics Liquid Lipsticks are winners, especially for the price.
The BH Cosmetics Liquid Lipsticks are available now in 10 shades for $8 (even lower with their big sales!) at bhcosmetics.com.
