butter LONDON is one of my go-to brands for nail polish but I’ve barely scratched the surface when it comes to their makeup.
I really liked wearing the LIPPY Liquid Lipstick last month so I had high hopes for these products.
butter LONDON Nail Lacquer Ladybird & Bloody Brilliant Lip Crayon Ladybird (c/o)
Orange-red is one of my favorite shades to wear for the summer since it looks great with a tan and is a nice updated version of a red.
The Bloody Brilliant Lip Crayon in Ladybird took a couple of layers to get it fully opaque. The finish is glossy but you can easily blot it to get it more matte or apply just one layer for a more sheer look. Unlike mattes, it didn’t last an insane amount of time on my lips – I’d say about 3 hours before I had to reapply.
butter LONDON Nail Lacquer Ladybird (c/o)
butter LONDON’s Nail Lacquer in Ladybird applied just as I expected. With one coat it was basically opaque and the application was so smooth. The brush makes it so easy to glide around the edge for your nail bed for that professional look. LOVE!
butter LONDON Iconoclast Mega Volume Lacquer Mascara & Wink Eye Pencil Union Jack Black (c/o)
Compared to UD’s 24/7 eye liner in Perversion, the Wink Eye Pencil was not as black as I liked it be. The texture was slightly firmer but had pretty good staying power on my lower lash line.
As for butter LONDON’s Iconoclast Mascara, it was more lengthening than volumizing to me. It did an above average job at lengthening and separating my lashes. The ball tip may look gimmicky but it helped to get to those tiny corner lashes and bottom lashes. Surprisingly, it held a curl pretty well for a non-waterproof mascara and the removal process wasn’t hard at all.
Are there any butter LONDON products you’re dying to try?

Omg, you look incredible! The orange on your cheeks, lips and nails is just stunning! I really avoid oranges at all costs and have never though that they look good on me. I always prefer pinks and nudes but I recently have been loving peaches on the cheeks! I’ve yet to try anything from them but I do plan to get a polish for a friend of mine from them that’s she’s been lusting after but haven’t picked up yet!

If I can wear orange, you can too!!! Wearing peaches and corals is a step in that direction 😉

Love the red colour of the lippie and the nail polish. I’ve yet to try anything from the brand, but I’ve heard amazing things about it, especially in regards to the nail polishes.

I’d try the nail polishes before their cosmetics – their color range and formula is spot on. Don’t get me wrong, bL’s makeup is nice too, but I think that since it’s a newer addition to their brand, they have a lot room to grow.
