I know, I know – a bold statement.  I’ve been a huge fan of butter LONDON for years…besides their amazing formula and pigmentation, I’m also a fan of how they incorporate fashion and nail polish so seamlessly.  Katie Jane Hughes, butter LONDON‘s global ambassador, is a talented nail artist (I’ve gotten my nails done by her and her work is impeccable!) who gives easy-to-follow nail tutorials and nail art inspiration on bL’s blog.  I suggest signing up for the bL’s email list if you love nail tutorials!

butter LONDON‘s latest 10-in-1 formula features 14 shades that claims to wear up to 10 days.  Each nail lacquer contains no formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, DBP, toluene, camphor, ethyl tosylamide, or xylene and claims to smooth and strengthen the nail during wear.

I was lucky enough to receive 4 shades from their latest collection: Her Majesty’s Red (red), Shop Girl (nude), Over the Moon (grey), and Chat Up (blue).

Out of all 4 of these shades, there was not a dud in sight.  I loved the rounded wide brush, which made it super easy to create crisp edges around the cuticle and made painting the entire nail faster with just two swipes.  Each coat was really pigmented and I could have gone without a second coat (but I did anyway out of habit).

butter LONDON wasn’t kidding about the shine either, the swatches above are without a top coat.

Another thing to note is the price.  If you thought the other butter LONDON nail lacquers were expensive, these babies will set you back at $18 a pop.
