Charlotte Tilbury ‘Luxury Palette’ Color-Coded Eyeshadow Palette in Dolce Vita
My second and latest Charlotte Tilbury addition to my makeup collection. Believe it or not, I actually don’t own a super high end eyeshadow quad so I was excited to know that Charlotte Tilbury would be my first. People rave about her makeup line and I knew I wouldn’t be disappointed if I chose an eyeshadow quad. I had a difficult time choosing which quad I wanted, but in the end, because the quad is super expensive and I wanted to get the most out of it, I chose “me” colors: warm browns.
Just as you’d expect, the packaging is luxurious and I love that she labeled each eyeshadow for its purpose. Not that I would follow it, but it’s nice to have for those who aren’t exactly comfortable with makeup. For me, I’d use shade #1 only as a highlighter on my brow bone and tear duct and #2 & #3, I’d use interchangeably on the lid/crease/lower lash line. Shade #4 is perfect for a pop, since it’s more of a pressed pigment. It’s not exactly super pigmented, but it’s a good eyeshadow to layer on top of warm browns for a bit of sparkle.Wear time is pretty average, but what I find really beautiful about these shades is the texture. They’re not crumbly like cheap eyeshadows, but are firm and buttery all at the same time. I feel secure bringing these eyeshadows with me on trips since I know they won’t crumble. The blend-ability makes smokey eyes a breeze and the shades are easy to pull off day or night.
Since Charlotte Tilbury‘s products are more on the pricier side, this quad costs about $52. Do I think this is essential for your collection? Not really. It’s not exactly the cheapest either, but if you’re looking to treat yourself, I think it’s something nice to have.

It’s definitely ok to treat yourself with expensive products because after all it’s all about passion for makeup, that’s what I think. I can’t wait for a visit to the US to get at least the Filmstar Bronze And Glow, CT went straight to perfection with her products! X
