Ciate London Bamboo Bronzer Star Island Review & Swatches (c/o)
Who cares that Fall officially begins next week, I’ll be bringing on the bronzer these next couple weeks on the blog!
Today, I’m bringing you Ciate London’s Bamboo Bronzer in Star Island. In my opinion, it’s a bronzer to grab a hold of if you’re starting to miss your vacation tan already.
As part of Ciate’s South Beach Socialite Collection, the brand brought out this Bamboo Bronzer that comes in two shades: Star Island (light to medium) and Palm Island (medium to dark).
Today, I’m reviewing Star Island and off of first glance, I knew that this bronzer would mimic freshly tanned skin.
It has very warm undertones and even Palm Island has reddish tones, which are perfect to use when you want to fake that you just got back from vacation.
The finish is also matte, so if you want to do some slight contouring mixed in with your bronzing, go ahead girl.
My one gripe about this product is that I wish the compact itself (although uber glamorous and chic), would tie in well with the South Beach Socialite theme. The box is beautifully decorated in art deco, and I wish that the compact similarly matched it some sort of way since I tend to throw makeup boxes away. I know, this complaint is minor, but hey, it’s all in the details right?
My arm is really tanned at the moment, so Star Island is looking a little too light for me, but I promise, on my face, it works perfectly fine!
The Ciate London Bamboo Bronzer Longwear Bronzing Powder is available in two shades for $28 at ciatelondon.com, and Sephora.
