Ciate x Olivia Palermo Nail Polish Sunday’s Review (c/o)
I’ve had a girl crush on Olivia Palermo ever since she was on The City. Even though she played the mean girl, I secretly loved her because her style was soooo on point!
Fast forward how many years later and she’s still killing it in the fashion scene and now, the beauty world.
Olivia is Ciate’s guest Creative Director until Spring 2016 and with that title, she released three nail polishes, one of which I’ll be reviewing today: Sunday’s.
If you asked me three months ago if I’d be loving a pale pink nail polish this summer, I would have laughed. But I’m branching out and really feeling the pale pink. It does make my hands look crazy dark, but there’s something so chic about a powdery pink.
The brush in this nail polish is really wide and rounded (LOVE), making it a breeze to paint my nails. The finish is also medium sheer (looked gel-like) – 1-2 coats and it was a sheerish pinky nude, so I had to layer on about 4 coats to get it this opaque. There’s nothing wrong with it being sheer-ish, it just didn’t show up against my skin tone too much. For someone fairer than me, I think 2 coats would have been perfect.
The nail polish itself is pricey but she makes up for it in the really luxe and thoughtful packaging.
I’m such a sucker for gold (especially pink AND gold), so I instantly loved the detailing.
The nail polish was also incredibly long lasting (I used butter LONDON’s Nail Foundation as my base) and was chip free for a week.
For the girl who loves her classic shades, you’re gonna love wearing these polishes.
Available in 3 shades total (I’ll be reviewing the other shade soon) for $24 at ciatelondon.com, Nordstrom, and Sephora.com.

I’ve actually been wearing paler tones for Summer, this pink looks so pretty – I would buy it for the packaging as well! I love your rings too 🙂

This looks so pretty! My favourite ever nail polish is OPI ‘I Theadore You’ and this looks like it’s a pretty similar colour. I may have to pick it up…you can never have too many pink nudes in your collection! xx

I’m wearing a super similar colour by Essie on my nails right now. Baby pinks are my favourite year round; they’re low maintenance and look classy but not too done up. Loving this colour and packaging (and obviously, OP).
