L’Oreal Colour Caresse Wet Shine Stains 
Sorry to be a bit of a Debbie Downer today, but honesty is something I truly strive for in my reviews. I really thought the L’Oreal Colour Caresse Wet Shine Stains were going to be a hit, especially since the applicator and texture were very similar to the YSL Glossy Stains (which I LOVE). If you haven’t tried this gloss yet, these have a unique applicator which helps cover a large surface area on your lips so you don’t have to reapply back and forth. Once you apply a coat on, you need to let it set before applying another layer or else it gets all gloopy on you. The YSL Glossy Stains have great staying power and the pay off is so vibrant and beautiful, while the L’Oreal Colour Caresse Wet Shine Stain have the same texture, but not the same application. As you can see in the picture above, Eternally Nude is such a fail – uneven application and the color isn’t even true to the bottle shade (uh why does this apply orange??). Infinite Fuchsia is a lot better in application but the payoff on my lips isn’t as vibrant as I liked it to be. Maybe I received a bad batch and chose the wrong shades? Anyway, these will be sadly returned.

Sad to hear these were a disappointment. I do think that L’oreal is trying to take their packaging up a new notches though. The tube looks really nice!

i’ve tried and love the one i have in pink resistance. it dries down darker and looks coral on my lips but straight up baby pink in the tube. three coats and i get some solid color going on so maybe you did get a bad one?
