With Fall slowly creeping in, I’m trying to slowly transition in more Fall-like colors into the makeup routine. Here I used reddish tones on the lid and added a hint of cranberry on the bottom lash line. Cranberry eyeshadows are not something I use everyday, so used my handy dandy BH Cosmetics 88 Neutral Eyeshadow Palette! There are so many shades to choose from so I added a pic below labeled with numbers so you know which shades I’m exactly using. Hope you like the look!
1.) Add a primer and nude colored eyeshadow (pic below to see what shade I used) all over the lid to make blending easy.
2.) Blend in a transition shade (a matte brown shade 2 – 3 shades darker than your skin tone) into your crease. Here I used the brown eyeshadow I labeled with “2” in the pic below.
3.) Add a rose toned brown shade along the outer lash line using a flat eyeshadow brush to pack on the shade. No need to be super neat since we’ll be blending it out.
4.) Blend away!
5.) To highlight the lid, apply a taupe shimmery shade and then a light gold color into the tear duct.
6.) Smudge in that same shimmery rosy shade into your lower lash line. Apply your favorite eyeliner to create a wing and add some super black eyeliner into your lower waterline too.
7.) In the middle of your lower lash line, add a cranberry colored eyeshadow and make sure it blends into the rosy shimmery shade as well.
8.) Add your fave mascara and if you like, falsies too!

LOVE this look!! It’s very “me” as well ! Do many of the shades in that palette look similar once on Alyson? I looked at it and passed thinking that might be the case. Alos what falsies do you have on here? They’re puuurdy!

Hmm, yeah there are a lot of similar colors but it’s really handy to have in your back pocket in case you need a random color.
I forgot what number the falsies are (I’m guilty of using falsies over and over) but I remember they’re from a brand called J.Cat and they were super cheap too!
Hope that helps 🙂

I’ve been looking for the raspberry pie colour, but can’t seem to find it at my local Shoppers. Guess I’ll have to give Wal Mart a try soon! It’s so perfect for fall.

I’ve had Cranberry eyeshadow by MAC for almost a year now and I think I’ve only used it like once haha, its such a pretty shade but so hard to pull off, especially on my pale skin! I love how the cranberry colour is subtle in this look, definitely something I will be trying out this Autumn! xx
