I don’t have many but gosh do I love these things to death. I was scarred using cream eyeshadows when I was younger and because they creased like crazy and melted off my face in an hour, I was put off from using them. Fast forward 10 years later and I am amazed with the improvement! These eyeshadows don’t crease or melt, even on my hooded eyelids – AMAZING. Although fine on its own, I also use these products as a base when I’m going for a more intense eye look. I find that it makes the eyeshadow shades pop more and stay longer too. The cream shadow coming in stick form is convenient for traveling, it’s the easiest smokey eye ever and can double up as an eyeliner too!
For daytime makeup, I usually stick with the Mally Evercolor Shadow Sticks since they are the most neutral. My absolute favorite is in the shade Topaz (a typical “me” shade), I just find that it defines my eyes and compliments my skin tone so nicely. I can even kick it up a notch by adding a darker warm brown on top. Dusk reminds me of the By Terry Ombre Blackstar in Misty Rock that Tanya Burr raves on about and Sunlight is really pretty alone on the lid for a natural bright-eyed look.
The Laura Mercier Caviar Sticks are beautifully pigmented, I mean, how gorgeous is Sapphire? I don’t have any of the neutral shades from this collection, so I mainly use these shades for night looks. Just like the Mally Evercolor Shadow Sticks, they don’t budge and blend easily before they set.

At the moment I only use one cream eyeshadow, for the same reason you had, er, 10 years ago – I guess I’m late in the game! But you’re kind of convincing me to try more out 🙂 They look awesome.
