After falling in love with Niles, I just HAD to show my boyfriend how cute the little town was. The last time I was there, I had high tea with my cousin, and this time I wanted to check out a cool coffee shop that had amazing reviews on Yelp. So we ventured off to Fremont (the city Niles is next to), and, of course, I had to stop by Target, where there was a Revlon event at Target’s Beauty Concierge. I was already wearing this vampy lip from Revlon (Black Cherry) with really simple neutral eye shadows, but at the event, the makeup artist and I came up with an unexpected combination if you’re looking for something edgier than a classic holiday makeup look. For eye shadow, we mainly used the Revlon ColorStay 16 Hour Eye shadow in Adventurous. On the lids, we packed on the olive shade and the matte dark brown in the crease. As the inner corner and brow highlight, we used the gold-toned Champagne shade. We lined my lower waterline with the Revlon ColorStay Eyeliner in black, and then used the same olive eye shadow to smudge it out. To make the look more fun for parties, we added some glitter from the Revlon PhotoReady Eye Art in Topaz Twinkle. If you want to recreate this look, here is the full list of products we both used:
Revlon ColorStay 16 Hour Eye shadow in Adventurous
Revlon ColorStay Eyeliner Revlon PhotoReady Eye Art in Topaz Twinkle
Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Black Cherry
Revlon Powder Blush in Wine Not
False Lashes (Ardell has similar ones)
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer
Maybelline Falsies Push Up Drama Mascara
Matte Bronzer (Sonia Kashuk has a great matte cream bronzer) Feeling super glamorous with a full face of makeup, we finally stopped by Devout Coffee in Niles. The atmosphere felt very hipster and the cafe was full of people on their laptops. I definitely want to come back and do some work there when I’m feeling uninspired at home. I hope my visit to Target’s Beauty Concierge gives you inspiration to get creative with your holiday makeup looks! I would have never thought to pair an olive smoky eye with a vampy burgundy lip, and I’m so in love with the added glitter. The next time you need to go to Target for some errands or holiday shopping, it’s definitely worth it to check to see if there are any beauty events happening near you at the Beauty Concierge. Just like me, the experts at the Beauty Concierge can help you create some new makeup looks for the season. Find your style @TargetStyle. SHOP THE POST [show_shopthepost_widget id=”1270476″]

Soooo pretty! I love LOVE your shadow look! I’ve been super lazy and simple with my make up recently as I’ve been having to do my face quickly in the morning for work so it’s nothing fancy. I haven’t worn a deep lip in forever and think the year end would be a great time to pull out a darker red!

I don’t blame you! One of my friends just came back from Singapore and she told me how incredibly hot and humid it is!! I think in that weather, I’d melt into a puddle and just wear tinted moisturizer and lip balm. :O
