ELF Studio Blush Palette Swatches & Review
Yes, you read right – $6 for 4 blushes. That’s a $1.50 per blush!
In true ELF fashion, I shouldn’t expect anything more and in fact, one of my fave blush brushes is ELF and it was only $3!
Anyway, back to the palette. The ELF Studio Blush Palette comes in 2 shades: light and dark. Each blush is removable from the palette where you can mix and match shades from both the light and dark palettes.
ELF claims that these palettes contain a mixture of mattes and shimmers but the shades that have shimmer kinda fall off the face once blended.
This time, I chose the lighter shades and they really show up on my skin. They’re not the softest, but I guess that’s a good thing because they’re really pigmented. I have to tap off quite a lot and use a duo fiber brush to keep myself from looking like a clown.
The textures of the blushes are quite smooth but they have that slightly chalky feeling that cheaper blushes have. They’re actually pretty similar to the City Color Be Matte blushes I love so much.
I was also pleasantly surprised with the packaging of this palette – it’s quite sturdy and has a mahooosive mirror. The design of the square blushes in a customizable palette reminds me so much of the Bobbi Brown 6 Pan Palettes.
I doubt I’ll be getting the darker palette since these shades suit me much better. Just remember, to tap off the excess when you apply!
For you bargain hunters out there, the ELF Blush Palette comes highly recommended from me.
Available for $6 at eyeslipsface.com, drugstore.com, Target, Walmart, and Amazon.

These are all really pretty shades! I kinda wish I’d picked this up before ELF left the UK! I have their ‘makeup artist’ palette which comes with 10 blusher/bronzer shades along with a tonne of eyeshadows and I was actually really impressed with the quality for the price – you can never have too many blushers! xx

Elf hasn’t disappointed me yet, their price point is soo crazy good and they have lots of comparable dupes!

All 4 of those shades are so pretty! Blush is something I never spend a lot of money on. There are so many drugstore options like these that are good quality and really nice shades 🙂

I was so surprised when I saw this at the drugstore too, such a good bargain!!!

These palettes are seriously so worth it! I’m on a ban from buying blush palettes right now though, I own waaaay too many blushes although I use them all! I think the only color I wouldn’t get much use out of is the palest pink, I love all shades but the exception of powder pink for some reason.

I thought the palest pink would be weird on me too, but when i use a tiny tiny bit, it gives a really pretty flush. 🙂

I haven’t tried ELF cosmetics in years, but I remember really disliking the quality of the product. Hopefully they have reformulated and are better now, but the blushes I had barely lasted more than a few hours on my face. But the colours look so beautiful and vibrant here!

I wasn’t impressed with the single blushes either, they didn’t really show up on my face which is probably why I was surprised when I swatched these. I’ll have to test these blushes out more and pay attention to the longevity. Good call out!
