Until about two years, bangs were my thing. Remember when side bangs were cool? I’ve been kinda sorta missing my side bang days, so I took inspiration from Peter Som’s AW 2014‘s models who were wearing this hairstyle, which is SUPER easy to do.
Eva NYC Pink Metallic Almighty Pro-Lite Dryer*
For me, this hairstyle works best on freshly washed hair when my strands are the sleekest. I first dried my hair using my new Eva NYC Pink Metallic Almighty Pro-Lite Dryer that I am so in love with. Besides that is really girly and pink, I love that the air comes out super concentrated, so I just have to point the nozzle down towards my hair and it blow dries it straight. Compared to my old dryer (which was a cheapy drugstore one), it dries my entire head in half the time (approx 8 min)!!!I dried my hair with a little bend at the ends using a round brush with the concentrator attachment. The air comes out concentrated even without the attachment, so my hair wasn’t flying everywhere. It also has multiple settings: 2 speeds and 3 heat settings. If I’m doing a rough dry, I’ll just use Speed 1 and Heat 1, then to curl my ends, I’ll use Speed 2 and Heat 3. To seal the curl, I’ll give it a cool blast.
After my hair was dried, I parted my hair in a deep part and bobby pinned most of my hair to the side above my ear, making sure this pin was hidden. I left my “bangs” out of this section to pin it separately in the same area, but I made the pin visible this time.
I know this hairstyle is may be too easy to do, but I love seeing hairstyles on the runway that are wearable for everyday and easy enough for hair amateurs like me. I’ll be wearing this hairstyle when I’m at school since I hate it when my hair gets in the way during a lecture.
If you’re interested in buying this dryer, I have an amazing deal where you can buy this super cute blow dryer for only $39.99 (um, that’s over 60% off)! Just add the code Alysonloveseva to checkout when you purchase on eva-nyc.com. Code expires 10/15/14.

I love this look! It’s so simple and you can always tease the back of your hair, incorporating the side swept bangs into a beehive look! So many hairstyle ideas, haha! x

Your hair looks amazing! I just got very subtle side bangs (or just a bit shorter of layers at the front, depending on how you look at it). While my hair is definitely shorter now, I think this hair style will suit it perfectly!

That looks really easy! I love bangs but I look not so good on them, I think my front is kind of small or something, they just look weird haha. Btw, your skin looks absolutely perfect!! X
