Fall Blushes

As you can probably tell, I’m really liking the whole berry/plum blush look this season. It’s easy to get caught in a rut, so I find that one of the easiest ways to switch it up is just by replacing your blush. I have a full range of blushes here from natural to bold and from matte to shimmery. The NARS Blush in Seduction is by far the boldest one here and the next is Wet n Wild in Heather Silk. Both blushes are really pigmented, so I have to tap off the excess before I apply. I also find that using a duo fibre brush really helps with the light application.

The next two blushes are very similar in color and I’ve been wearing these the most. The City Color Be Matte Blush in Blackberry is matte and lighter than the girlactik Star Blush in Madrid. The girlactik blush has the tiniest amount of glitter in it and is not noticeable when you apply. Because these are mid-toned on me, I can use a more dense brush to apply.

The odd one out is definitely the Wet n Wild in Berry Shimmer, it’s more on the rosier side with gold shimmer running through it. It reminds me of the earthy tones you see in a desert and is so pretty when I want a look that is on the warmer side.

The most natural out of my fave Fall blushes are the girlactik Star Powder in Sheen and Benefit Blush in Hervana. The girlactik Star Powder is ultra shimmery and can double up as a highlighter for the tanner skin tones, but I do like the sheer wash of color it gives on my cheeks. Hervana also barely shows up on my skin, but again, the sheerness makes is very wearable for those with light skin tones.
