On Repeat In My Handbag

Among many things, I carry a lot of lip glosses and lipsticks in my handbag.  They just kinda pile up after a while and I’m that kinda girl that likes to have options (you never know when you’ll need a matte red or vampy lip!).

But there’s something about these four lip products I can’t get enough of lately and despite the plethora of lipsticks and lip glosses at the bottom of my handbag, I’ve been choosing these four.

With two posts about ColourPop already under my belt, you can probably tell how much love I have for them.  I was curious to see how their lip products measured up to their eyeshadows and I promise, they do.

I’ve been obsessed with the whole natural matte lip trend so I picked up these two shades: Lumiere and Frida.

Lumiere is a plum-y berry nude, while Frida is a warmer natural pink on me.  Both apply very opaque and last around 4-5 hours on me before it starts to wear off.  The thin slanted bullet also makes it really easy to apply.

When I want a gloss, theBalm’s Read My Lips Lip Gloss never fails me.  Pop! is a light coral shade, while Bam! is the perfect warm pink shade for me.  Both apply opaque enough to cover the pigmentation on my lips and has just the right amount of stickiness in the gloss.  It smells pretty yummy too, which is an added bonus.  These glosses also last pretty well on my lips too!
