Favorite Spring Nail Polishes

I am in full Spring mode and for me, changing up my nail color is one of the easiest ways to update. As you probably know, pastels are everywhere this season and three of my picks are directly related to Pantone’s selections. A couple years back, mint was THE color of the season and while I desperately wanted to wear Essie’s Mint Candy Apple, I found that more pistacchio-y shades were flattering against my skin tone. So whenever I’m in a mint-y mood, I wear Essie’s Da Bush instead. The next two shades are purple-toned, which again have every bit to do with Pantone. Zoya’s Rue is more of a neutral shade for me and blends in well with my skin tone whenever I want to have a nude moment and Essie’s Bond with Whomever is so lively and Spring-like, that I couldn’t resist adding this to my Spring Faves.

Next up are the brights. I have to admit, brights look 100x better on me than pastels so more often than not, I’m wearing something bright. My first bright fave is butter LONDON’s Trout Pout, a salmon-y type coral. I don’t know about you, but corals get me. The warm tones brighten and compliment my olive skin so well that any type of coral, I definitely wear. So naturally, since this shade is not too bright or pastel-y, I think it works equally well for the Spring and Summer months. The newest out of the bunch is OPI’s Kiss Me I’m Brazilian and I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. I could totally see myself rocking this shade into the summer and I love the fact that it’s leaning towards a neon without being too obnoxious. Aaaand the last fave is Sation’s Queenie in a Bottle. There’s something about this color that reminds me of bright roses or tulips and any fuchsia nail polish is a winner in my book. Reds are my usual staple, so whenever I want to slightly update my polish game and still look put together, fuchsias are the ones I reach for.
