GLOSSYBOX July 2015 Review (c/o)

Sorry I’m a little late to the party on this one.  Seriously, where did July go?  So sad my birthday month is over and we’re already more than halfway through 2015!  Anyway, onto this month’s box…

GLOSSYBOX’s July box contains:

• Naked Lips Organic Lip Balm
• Hey Honey I Peel Good

• Cargo Cosmetics Water Resistant Blush in Coronado

The Naked Lips Organic Balm contains all natural ingredients and is 99% organic.  It has a peppermint scent to it, which I found helped with the moisturization.  It has a very faint sheen, but for the most part feels very balmy/waxy.  The product lasted for about an hour before I had to reapply, but my lips felt very moisturized while the product was on.

As for Hey Honey I Peel Good, I really enjoyed using it.  I was pretty skeptical using a non AHA peel, but my skin felt really supple and soft afterwards.  The product itself has a balmy sticky texture that you massage into dry skin for at least 2-3 minutes until the texture gets even smoother.  Rinse off with water and the product turns milky.  I didn’t notice any brightening effects like a traditional peel, but I really liked the way it made my skin feel.

The Kueshi Anticellulite Booster (which is HUGE btw) was a little bit hard to review.  I’ve used it overnight as the product instructs, but I haven’t a difference after one use.  I’ll continue to test it and see it makes a difference.

This is my first time trying anything from Face Stockholm and I’m liking it so far.  The color I received was Yvonne, which I thought was a bit dark for the summer.  I’ve been looking for a dark tawny shade and I think this one is it!  I think this would look pretty all over the lips by itself during the Fall.

The Cargo blush I ended up getting was a really subtle color on the skin (it showed up a lot better on my face).  A really pretty color, but not exactly the best match for my skin tone.  I didn’t test if the blush was actually water resistant, but it did stay put after wearing it for a day!  I couldn’t find the shade online, but you can view the rest of the colors at Nordstrom and Ulta.
