GLOSSYBOX June 2015 Review (c/o)

It’s that time of the month again where I get to open my box of goodies from GLOSSYBOX.  With summer approaching, June’s box is full of products fit for the season.

The Aloe Source Luminosity Mask: This mask has a gel-like texture that has enzymes to gently exfoliate the skin.  I didn’t feel any tingly sensations, so this is a great product to try if you have more sensitive skin and are looking for a gentle exfoliation especially after the colder months. I’ve talked about using peels and stronger exfoliants, so with something this gentle, I didn’t really notice anything different when I washed this mask off.

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara: Hands down, one of my fave mascaras EVER and the trial size makes it that much better for the holiday months.  It lengthens and volumizes my lashes more than most mascaras…now if only they could come out with a waterproof formula…

Etre Belle Cosmetics Aloe Vera Ultra Moisturizing Gel: I used to be really into gel moisturizers but kinda forgot about them.  I’ve been using heavier moisturizers in the winter after having a drier spell but with the weather warming up, a gel moisturizer is much needed (my skin is back to its oil slick self).  This moisturizer applies quite sticky on the skin, so I have to give it a few minutes to soak in before I start doing my makeup. Liking that it keeps my oil at bay longer than my other moisturizers, just bear in mind it has a slight old lady fragrance to it.

Doucce Blush Brush: The shortened handle is great to keep in your in-purse cosmetic bag and I used it for bronzer, powder, blush and they all worked great.  The bristles did shed a little but I still think it’s a pretty handy brush to have in your purse.

Orly Nail Lacquer:  This nail polish is teeny tiny – so cute!  I’m one of those people who brings nail polish with me on vacay just in case my nail polish chips so having a tiny nail polish like this would be perfect for just that.  Also loving that the shade would look super pretty with a tan.
