With my skin a bit drier than usual, I’ve been a little obsessed with luminizers lately.
I’ve always envied normal to dry skin for this very reason and I feel like luminous foundations and luminizers look amazing when trying to perk up dull winter skin.
I know I go on and on about my oily skin, so I have to go a easy on the luminizers and make sure I powder my skin to set it. But by adding just a tiny bit with my foundation, it’s giving my skin life this season…seriously. If you’re a similar skin tone to me, make sure to pick a luminizer that’s on the golden side.
What are some things you’re doing in your makeup routine to combat this winter weather?

Im making sure to cover my entire face with a blanket haha! Just kidding but I feel like this year my skin is taking bigger hit in terms of dry patches then usual. I keep smothering my face in lotion honestly haha!

Haha I feel you on that one! Even though my skin is oily, i basically coat my face in thick moisturizer at night.
I have super oily skin, so I avoided highlighters for years. Now, I’m completely obsessed with them. I really want to try the Josie Maran one; hopefully you’ll do a review on it one day!
Currently, I can’t stop using Mac Lightscapade and Kevyn Aucoin Candlelight. I find powders last better on my skin, but I really want to try some more creams.

The Josie Maran is STUNNING! The golden shimmer is amazingly potent and just the tiniest amount is good enough for me. I really want to try the Kevyn Aucoin one though, I keep hearing amaaaazing things about it.
