Halloween is just a day away and I’ve got ANOTHER pictorial for you! I had these mouse ears from my last Disneyland trip and decided I didn’t want to wait until the next Disneyland visit to wear them.
FACE: Wear any foundation you’re comfortable wearing. I wore bareMinerals bareSkin foundation and contoured my face using theBalm Mary-Lou Manizer for the highlighter and my NARS Laguna bronzer. Don’t forget to give yourself a little black nose using a black pencil eyeliner!
CHEEKS: I used the NYX Cream Blush in Red Cheeks just to the apples of my cheeks and blend. Don’t be afraid to add more than you usually would!
LIPS: Try to choose a cherry red that’s not too warm. I’m wearing Wet n Wild in Red Velvet.
On to the pictorial!
EYES:
1. As always prime your lid with your favorite primer and add a bone colored eyeshadow all over the lid. I used Buff from the Lorac PRO 2 Palette.
2. Since we’ll be working with Black, add a transition shade to your crease for some slight definition. I used Light Brown from the Lorac PRO 2 Palette, but any light brown will do.
3. To build up the intensity, pack on a grey matte eyeshadow like Charcoal to your outer crease. Blend, blend, blend.
4. Build up the intensity further by adding Black where you placed Charcoal, then blend. Next pack on a frosty Silver or frosty white shade (Snow) to your lid. Blend it slightly into the Black.
5. Clean up the fallout and add a highlight like Snow to your inner tear duct. Next, use a white eyeliner to line your waterline and add little black dots to the bottom of your lash line using a liquid eyeliner to help your false lower lashes blend to your real lashes.
6. Add a dramatic winged liner and add falsies top and bottom. I used extreme lashes (at least for me they are) since we’re going for a cartoon look. My bottom lashes are Red Cherry # 602 and my upper lashes are a Japanese brand called Dear Laura.
Hope this helps and enjoy!
