Hourglass Ambient Bronzer Radiant Bronze Light Swatches & Review (c/o)
There’s a new bronzer in town and it’s from none other than Hourglass Cosmetics.
This bronzer is made with Photoluminescent Technology, the same way the Ambient Blushes and Powders are made, for a natural radiant glow.
It’s not my typical bronzer, since it’s very warmed toned (almost peachy), shimmery and sheer – I even got the darkest shade! I had to steer away from my usual contouring (it’s too light and too warm for it!) and use it as an over all glow. In my opinion, adding it around your temples, at the tops of your cheeks, and a little across the bridge of your nose is the best way to use it.
Because it is also much lighter than my usual bronzers, I’ve been loving using it as blush to downplay the rest of my makeup when I wear super bright lips. In fact, this was my bronzer of choice when I was at Coachella since I was wearing purple and orange lipsticks.
For those who are afraid of bronzer, the Hourglass Ambient Bronzers are perfect since it’s very sheer and you can build it up if you want to add more color to your face.
(Please keep in mind that my arms are darker than my face, so the bronzer shows up a little more vibrantly when it’s on.)
The Ambient Bronzer comes in two shades: Luminous Bronze Light (fair/light complexions) and Radiant Bronze Light (medium/deep complexions).
Available for $50 at Bergdorf Goodman, Net-A-Porter.com, Nordstrom, and Space NK in May. Available now at Sephora, Barneys New York and Hourglasscosmetics.com.

Thanks babe!

I’ve always wanted to try out some Hourglass products, but I think this would be a little too peachy for me and I’m not sure how I feel about shimmery bronzers! I have the Too Faced Sun Bunny in a palette and I never use it as I just don’t know how to! xx

I actually think you might like this one since the shimmer is more of a glow. The Too Faced bronzers are much more frosty/shimmery.

I absolutely love Hourglass products, but 60$ (cnd) is a crazy amount for a single bronzer, especially when the blush trio palette was only 67$. But it’s still so pretty!

I know, Hourglass has a steep price range…but it does making using their makeup feel like a treat!

I’d imagine this feels really smooth and silky but for the price tag it’s a shame this is the darkest shade. At least paler skin tones can benefit from it though x

Yeah, hoping they come out with something a little bit deeper in the future.

I’ve seen another lovely blogger use this and she’s similar in skintone to you and it looks so amazing on the face. It’s like the most natural but brilliant sunkiss color. I don’t own any bronzers but if I were to invest in one, I think I would totally go for this, I don’t see how I could go wrong with this beaut!
The Beauty Vanity says
OOH, which blogger? I’d love to check her out. 🙂

It’s tiffany from Will Work For Make up! She posted her review two weeks ago now I believe and she’s got a gorgeous slight tan going on and the bronzer seriously looks brilliant :p
The Beauty Vanity says
Totally gonna check right now, thanks for the recommendation!!

Hmm I wasn’t too into these at first, but you have me intrigued! Hourglass always does an amazing job at creating subtle, luminous glow.

They definitely know what they’re doing over at Hourglass 🙂
