Jordana Cat Eye Liner Swatches & Review (c/o)
Using liquid liner is a part of my daily routine and without it, I don’t feel…well, me.
I’m always on the hunt for new liners to top the one I’m currently using and to see if they meet the following criteria:
- Longevity
- Ease of use
- High pigmentation
I’ve never tried any of Jordana’s liners, so I was curious to see how it performed, particularly with my hooded lids.
The Cat Eye Liner is described as “lightweight, long wearing, smudge-proof color that lines & defines eyes.”
I tested all shades for an entire day and unfortunately, it did not meet my criteria.
All the liners were not pigmented and quite streaky. If you take a look at my swatches below, I layered the coats quite a bit and it ended up flaking away on my lids. Twilight did the best in terms of pigmentation, but didn’t last long on my lids anyway.
The liners dried down to a glossy finish, particularly the matte shades.
Having said all that, I did like the thin tapered brush, which I found useful when creating a wing.
Because it poorly performed overall, I can’t recommend this liner unless you intend to use it for costume makeup.
Available for $2.99 at jordanacosmetics.com, Walgreens, Duane Reed, kmart, and Save Mart.

I love my Jordana felt tip pen liner !! It’s a great starter liner if you don’t know how to wing/cat eye. These colors are amazing, I find it’s hard to find a good bold drug store liner. This was a great post !!

Totally love these — cat eyes are the best. By the way, are you going to the Santana Row fashion show on June 6?

I’m on the hunt for a nice brown liquid liner. I love wearing eyeliner, but I’m so pale, I really don’t suit black liner. It’s a shame that these weren’t the greatest quality, because the colours are quite pretty.
