Laura Geller Baked Gelato Vivid Swirl Blush Swatches & Review (c/o)
Mmm gelato…one of my favorite things to eat in the Summer. Good gelato places are hard to find in the South Bay, but I tried Michielan Pistachio Gelato from Costco that was shockingly similar to the ones I ate in Italy. YUUUUM!
Anyway, I thought it would be seasonally appropriate to talk about the Laura Baked Gelato Vivid Swirl Blushes at the start of Summer.
If the thought of applying too much blush scares you, these Laura Geller blushes are for you. The blushes apply sheer and are buildable (very useful to accommodate a range of skin tones from fair to tan). For example, Rosewater showed up a lot better on me, while Cantaloupe had to be applied in about two to three layers.
To those who are similar in skin tone to me, make note that these blushes may not apply as they look in the pan. Cantaloupe didn’t apply as coral or peach as I thought and leaned a little bit pink on the skin.
There is a sheen, but once blended out, it’s basically undetectable and gives a super subtle glow to the cheeks.
Despite its powder form, the texture feels very creamy and because of it’s natural finish, it’s easy to blend seamlessly into the rest of your makeup.

Oh dear, I’m so weak when it comes to blushes! I just love how they look like hardened creams and I love the sheen they have! I think they’d show up more true to pan on my skin right now as I’m not tanned at the moment but regardless the shades are so soft and pretty. Easy to wear and will sucker blush lovers like me in any day! Ugh, I really want to order her brighten and balance setting powder and some of her eyeshadows too are sooo beautiful! :p
