I was lucky enough to receive the Laura Mercier Souffle Body Creme Sampler Collection set from my cousin for Christmas. I have never tried Laura Mercier’s body products, so I was excited to try them all! This set contains four scents in 4 oz jars: Almond Coconut Milk, Ambre Vanillé, Fresh Fig and Crème de Pistache. Really generous “samples” to get a sense of how the product performs and what scents you like.
Almond Coconut Milk: My favorite out of the bunch. I’ve always been in love with the scent of almond and coconut separately, so having them both in one lotion is a dream. If you like sweet and creamy scents (but not overly sweet or artificially sweet), this is for you.
Ambre Vanillé: This scent reminds me of vanilla cupcakes, definitely a little sweeter than Almond Coconut.
Fresh Fig: A nice fragrance to wear when you’re craving something fruiter. Not completely fruity because I still detect a hint of creaminess.
Crème de Pistache: This smells exactly like a pistachio macaron – so yummy!
I wore the body creme right after I took a shower and I found that the scent was super long lasting and my skin stayed moisturized even by the end of the day. Laura Mercier’s body products may be a little pricy, but the ingredients are truly superb and the scents are never overpowering or artificial. If you want a little taste of her products, the hand cream is available at a great price ($15).
