Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Concealer Review & Swatches (c/o)
See ya later dark circles!
Part of the Ultra HD line, Make Up For Ever just released their new concealers claiming to correct and conceal dark under eye circles while blurring fine lines and wrinkles.
There are 10 shades in the collection, which are split into two categories: correcting and concealing.
The consistency is runnier than my other favorite concealers and correctors, which makes it easy to blend for my under eyes. The runnier consistency also keeps me from applying too much at once, just a little can cover a lot of surface area. However, I wouldn’t use these concealers to cover up blemishes, it’s too runny for that.
The rounded nozzle tip can be applied directly to the skin, but I much prefer adding it to the back of my hand and using my fingers or a Beauty Blender to blend. Be careful when squeezing out the product though, there were many times where too much came out!
The correcting group is pink/peachy toned, designed to correct your dark circles before you apply concealer. I really like the tones of the concealers, I used R32 (2nd from the right) and there was a big difference once applied.
I had to play around with this group to get the shade that I wanted. I compared my NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Custard and thought that Y33 (2nd from the right) would be a great match, but I ended up mixing Y31 and Y23 (3rd and 4th from the right) to get my under eyes bright enough. I’d highly recommend trying these concealers out at the store before you buy, the tube can fool you!
For those who don’t have bad dark circles, I think you can get by with just buying one to brighten up your eyes, but if your dark circles are a bit more difficult, adding a corrector to your routine can do wonders.
What do you think, will you be replacing your favorite under eye concealer with these?
The Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Concealer is available now for $27 at Sephora & Make Up For Ever.

I’ve only tried a couple of MUFE products but have really liked them, so I know I would love these too 🙂

I’ve heard a few people rave about these new concealers, but I haven’t found them here yet. I always use my Nars concealer under my eyes, but I find it creases for than I would like. Maybe the runnier consistency of these would be better. I’ll keep my eyes open for them 😉

The NARS concealer is a lot thicker than these ones, so I think the MUFE would be a better option for you. I find that bc these concealers are highly pigmented and thinner, they don’t crease as much. I hope you find them!! xx

Oh wow, so many color options! I did notice that concealers usually have a thicker consistency, so a thinner one sounds like it would go on more natural under the inner corner of the eyes. I’ll have to try these out the next time I’m at the department store!
The Beauty Vanity says
Yes, exactly! A tiny bit goes a long way, so you don’t have caked on concealer under your eyes. 🙂

Wow! They have really wide range of shades. I always complain about why brands do not have fair tones but this looks great!
