Finally getting into the swing of things, Spring is here and I’ve been finally transitioning my darker winter shades for brighter fresher shades. Here is the monthly round-up…
1.) tarte Amazonian Clay Airbrush Foundation: I’ve been using this favorite all month long. Stays on beautifully and covers up all my imperfections.
2.) theBalm Instain Staining Powder Blush in Lace: I know it looks really bright, but it’s such a fresh color to brighten my complexion after a dull winter season. Lasts all day too!
3.) Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder: Sorry folks, this palette is no longer available, but you can get two of the shades individually. I’ve been really enjoying using it as an all over powder and the luminosity on the powders doesn’t make my face look oily.
4.) Macadamia Natural Oil Healing Oil Spray: I have super long hair, so I am always on the hunt for products that are going to add moisture. Lately, I’ve been using this over my usual argan oil treatment and it’s been doing a good job so far making my locks silky smooth. I tend to use this right after I take a shower when my hair is still damp focusing the spray on my ends…if my hair is feeling particularly dry, I’ll add the tiniest amount after styling.
5, 6, 7) NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer, L’Oreal Lineur Intense Brush Tip Liquid Eyeliner, YSL Touche Eclat Radiant Touch: Same as last month, I can’t get away from these products!
8.) Essie Under Where?: My polish of choice, it just makes me so happy!
9.) Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb: Okay I’ll admit it, I only bought this perfume because of that one song by Wale (it’s a really good song!). This fragrance is heavier than most of my usual fragrances, but the scent is so florally and musky…the perfect fragrance for date night. 😉
10.) Ole Henriksen Power Peel Professional Spa Grade Kit: When I see a skincare peel kit, count me in. I’m all about chemical exfoliation and this one is awesome! This kit consists of three steps: the Almond Polish microdermabrasion scrub (which smells yummy by the way), the Lemon Strip flash peel, and the Chamomile Comfort clay mask. The peel is very strong and I feel the prickling effects as soon as I put it on. So if you’re super sensitive, you probably should put the clay mask immediately to neutralize the burning. I like to use this mask weekly to keep my skin smooth.
Any Spring favorites you have this month?

Lots of gorgeous stuff here! I have Flowerbomb from a Sephora Favorites set I bought a few months ago & I didn’t think I would like it but I actually do 🙂 & I’ve been wanting to try those Ole Power Peels too! Have you tried the Dr. Gross Alpha Beta peels? I wonder how they compare.

I’ve only used about 10 treatments total so I couldn’t really say – I like the way my skin feels right after but long-term, I haven’t used them long enough. I think next time I’m going to try Ole’s to see if I can tell a difference 🙂

Lovely selection of products, the Balm blush looks right up my street, I’ve been loving Fratboy. I really think I need to add the Tarte foundation to my wishlist, sounds lovely 🙂

I hope you get the tarte foundation and fall in love with it 🙂 xx

I should wear Flowerbomb before it gets warmer. It is definitely a grown-up candy floral scent for me and it works better than Prada Candy with my chemistry. 🙂
Beauty Vanity says
I hope you get it! Although Prada Candy doesn’t smell bad either…;)

lolol! I love that you bought the perfume because of wale’s song.

Hahah, I’m easily persuaded….

I’ve heard great things about the Ole Henriksen exfoliating mask, but peel kit? Count me in! I’m itching for more Instain blushes as well. They are so fab. So far this spring I’m all about radiant face products. Too Faced Tinted Beauty Balm or Amazing Face Liquid Foundation has been a constant the last couple weeks.
Beauty Vanity says
Ah, love Too Faced! Gotta try that out since Sephora is having a VIB/Rouge sale 😉

So jealous you got your hands on the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette. So bummed I hesitated and let it sell out!

I had to hunt that sucker down too! I know those powders would look soooo pretty with your skin tone too! xx
