Milani Rose Blush Spring 2015 (c/o)
After Christmas, seeing all the new drugstore makeup releases were my highlight of the month. One of my fave drugstore brands is Milani and it looks like they’re coming out with some pretty exciting products this season, like the Milani Rose Blushes.
These blushes are no longer limited edition and there are only 3 shades in their permanent range: Tea Rose, Romantic Rose, and Coral Cove.
I love the packaging, it’s sturdy, closes shut easily, and I love that I can see which blush shade I’m reaching for through the clear cap. Let’s not forget about the rose design of the blush! It’s nice to know that Milani put more thought into these blushes vs the average drugstore blush.
Although the rose design was visually appealing, it made swatching a nightmare! Definitely swirl the brush into the product and blend well. It’s very blendable and doesn’t apply chalky on the skin, but brush pickup might be a little uneven due to the rose design. Not a big deal since I like to really blend blushes when I apply them.
The product is more finely milled than the Wet n Wild blushes (which you know I love) and are less chalky than the City Color Be Matte Blushes.
The blushes are available at your local drugstores now or on the Milani site. At $7.99, I think these blushes are worth grabbing. The shades are really easy to wear and in my opinion, would fit a wide range of skin tones. Can’t wait to see what other shades Milani comes up with!

Agreed! Although not as intricate, the rose reminds me of Chanel blushes…so pretty!
