NYE Skin Care Recovery
I’m back! Between NYE and being sick, it’s been a rough 4 days trying to get back into my normal routine. I’m trying to take it easy, but at least I can start blogging again – I’ve missed you guys!
Needless to say, my skin hasn’t been looking its best lately. It’s looking dry and dull so I’ve been reaching for these products to try to look human again.
1.) NUDE Skincare Detox Brightening Fizzy Powder Wash: This unique cleanser comes in powder form and fizzes up with water. I’m all about brightening products and I like how this one is not too abrasive. I instantly notice a change in my complexion and the refreshing scent perks my senses up too.
2.) skyn ICELAND Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels: After a night of celebrating, these eye gels are a life savior. Let’s be real, the last thing I want to do when I get home after a late night is do my full skincare routine. I try my best to cleanse and moisturize, but I’m not as diligent, so these eye gels reduce puffiness and moisturize my eye area in the morning.
3.) NUDE Skincare Purify Deep Cleansing Mask: To help get rid of the toxins in my skin, I like to use a deep cleansing mask to prevent breakouts as much as possible. All you need is 10 minutes with this baby for clearer and brighter skin.
4.) WHAMISA Organic Fruits & Tomato Fermented Hydrogel Facial Mask: For added moisture, I like to use this mask that is drenched in this organic serum. My skin instantly soaks up this serum and brings it back to life.
5.) derma e Hydrating Day Crème with Hyaluronic Acid: With the winter temperatures and recovering skin, my regular moisturizers just won’t cut it. I like to bring out my heavy duty moisturizers to seal in everything that I’ve done so far and I’ve noticed a difference in my skin with the hyaluronic acid – it can hold up to a 1000 times its weight in water…so for those suffering from dry skin this winter, give this one a try.
6.) WHAMISA Organic Flowers Olive Leaf Mist: To keep my skin moisturized, I like to keep this mist handy to refresh my skin whenever I need it. It’s really useful when you’re stuck indoors with the heating on, which can dry out your skin.
7.) Cocokind Organic all-purpose salve: Not only does my face need TLC, my body does too! I love that this salve smells like delicious coconuts and provides heavy duty moisture to my lips, cuticles, hands, and elbows. I like to pamper myself with this salve when I’m just chilling out watching TV.
I hope you all had a wonderful NYE – I’m ready to start this new year with a bang!

I’m horrible about skin care routines! So I definitely appreciate when others share what they do! I’ll have to try these products! The detox wash sounds so refreshing.

It’s actually quite fun to use too – it’s neat to see the bubbles form when you mix the powder with water. xx

I always love the idea of the mask, but I also always forget to use them. I have a couple at home and I will certainly get to them this week thanks to your reminder. Will look into the mist too.

I try to use masks every sunday when I’m just chilling out – it makes it easy for me to wait while the mask dries. xx

I love skin care and I always find I have to baby my skin back to health every time I’m ill. It just becomes too dehydrated! Thanks for turning me onto Whamisa! Their stuff looks amazing!

Glow Recipe has a bunch of their products on their site and they break it down for you as to what does what (I get overwhelmed with asian beauty products), so their site is worth checking out! xx

Hi there! Just found you lovely blog! Hey from the South Bay! 🙂
I was intrigued to give the NUDE fizzy powder a try, but I’m trying to stay away from products that leave my skin feeling tight especially in the winter.. Have you tried the cleansing oil by NUDE? How would you compare the two by feeling?

Hi Ketie, so glad you stopped by! I’m from the South Bay too 🙂 Since you have drier skin in the winter, I’d stick with the cleansing oil. The fizzy powder isn’t a daily cleanser, it’s something to boost your cleansing routine a couple nights a week.

I still might get a sample to kill the curiosity.. 🙂
The NUDE cleansing oil is more of a summer oil for my liking… land I think it will work great on oily skin any day of the year..
Feel free to check out my blog which is still in the making but I’m getting there…
xoxo

Interesting! My skin is slightly different, I can only use oil in the winter time, or else I am a grease ball!! But yes, if you get the sample, lmk what you think!
Loved your blog, I left you a comment earlier this afternoon 😉
