In honor of Fashion Week, I’m dedicating some of my posts to NYFW. I know right now everything is all about Spring, but with Fall already here I’m including A/W Fashion Week to get us more excited about Fall.
While I love looking at all the new designs, nothing excites me more than seeing the new beauty and nail trends on the models. I’ve been wearing neons and brights all Summer long and I’m itching for a change. The nails from the Matthieu Mirano F/W 2014 show really caught my eye where the Essie nail artist, Miss Pop, created an easy nail look that even I can do. Here’s what I did:
1.) Prep and prime your nails by applying a base coat.
2.) Paint a medium toned red nail polish (I used OPI Red Hot Rio) on the left side of your nail bed only covering a quarter of your nail.
3.) After the red nail polish is dried, paint a black nail polish, like OPI in Black Onyx, on the rest of your nail.
4.) Apply your favorite top coat (mine will always and forever be Seche Vite) and you’re done!
So easy right? I didn’t use Essie products, but you can peep down below what products I used.
