This nail collection has everything you need for the Summer.
(wearing OPI Me, Myselfie & I)
It’s sandal season and we all know that means – it’s time to get regular pedicures.
Once in a while, it’s nice to wear fun bold colors like blue or green, but for the most part, I gravitate towards the classics. This way, I know my nails will be both Summer ready and work appropriate. If I had to choose a selection of colors to just wear for the entire season, the new OPI Summer 2017 collection is just that.
As a California girl, this collection got me right away. I love that Suzi (OPI’s co-founder) felt compelled enough to make a collection that gets inspiration from California’s food, fashion, culture, and diverse landscape.
There are 12 new shades this collection, available both in the classic and Infinite Shine formulas:

While I loved all the colors and could see myself wearing most of them all year round, I picked out 9 shades that, as I mentioned, are summer and work approriate.
- Malibu Pier Pressure (cotton candy pink creme)
- GPS I Love You (raspberry pink creme)
- To The Mouse House We Go! (bright, warm toned red)
- Me, Myselfie & I (red toned orange creme)
- Santa Monica Beach Peach (medium, slightly dusty orange)
- Time For A Napa (dusty coral pink)
- Excuse Me, Big Sur! (dusty rose pink creme)
- Barking Up The Wrong Sequoia (medium toned dusty peachy beige creme)
- Feeling Frisco (pale, yellow toned nude creme)
I’ve worn all of them already except for Malibu Pier Pressure (which is next on my list) and all have been complimentary against my skin tone. I love that these shades enhance my tan and for the most part, are really easy to apply. I find that applying 2 coats of the brighter shades and 3 coats of the lighter shades for full opacity works best for me.
