Guys, I’ve been in a serious nail polish rut lately…OPI, Essie, Zoya and repeat.  Although those brands are tried and true, sometimes a girl needs a little spice in her nail polish game.

Besides the fact that this polish shade is gorgeous, I wanted to test it out because it was labeled as 7 Free.  If you’re like me and have NO idea what 7 Free is, according to pacificabeauty.com, 7 Free simply means that it is formulated without parabens, phthalates (dibutyl phthalate), toluene, xylene, camphor, formaldehyde, resin, and animals.

With one layer, the nail polish wasn’t completely opaque and applies a tiny bit streaky at times.  So to get a truly opaque nail, I applied about two coats.  It’s been about five days and no chips so far, woo!  Also noticed that the polish wasn’t as strongly scented as my other polishes, which I think is directly associated with being 7 Free.

Would I repurchase?  Absolutely.  Pacifica has 25 shades to choose from and they’re all really gorgeous.  Highly recommend if you’re in the market for beauty products that are vegan and cruelty free, their body butters are AMAZING!
