RAPIDLASH Eyelash & Eyebrow Enhancing Serum

I’ve been born with typical Asian eyelashes: stubby and straight.  Over the years, I perfected my technique to make the most of what I got, which is a good eyelash curler (Shiseido) and waterproof mascara that lengthens and keeps the curl.

In the past, I’ve tried Latisse which did WONDERS for my lashes, but let’s be real, it’s too damn expensive to keep buying.  Once I stopped using it, my lashes started to fall out and was left with the same ol’ stubby and straight lashes.

I’ve also tried eyelash extensions which was a complete waste of money for me.  I’m a stomach sleeper, so within 3 – 4 days of getting them, my extensions were all bent out of shape and started falling out quickly.

So in comes the RAPIDLASH Eyelash & Eyebrow Enhancing Serum.  It got good reviews on Amazon and Ulta and was SO much more affordable than Latisse.  I’ve been using it off and on before I go to bed for the past 3.5 months now and here are the results.
Not a complete miracle, but the difference is quite noticeable between the two.  My lashes are much darker, thicker, and a tiny bit longer.  With mascara, you can really tell the difference in length and the results are pretty darn close to my lashes with Latisse.  The serum contains a Hexatein 1 Complex, which targets eyelashes and eyebrows to enhance and maintain growth.

Application is really easy, it’s a small brush tip that you apply at the base of your lash line.  I’ve only tried it on the upper lash line, but I’m curious to see how it would work on my bottom lash line and brows.

Something I noticed was that in the beginning, the serum dried clear but now when I apply it, I’m left with a residue on my lashes after the serum dries.  No biggie, just something to keep in mind.

No side effects on me either and I haven’t heard any concerns about this serum like Latisse (eye color hasn’t changed and no darkening of the skin).

Also, not sure about the after effects of the serum.  I have quite a bit left to use and so I won’t know for a while if my lashes will return to normal after the serum is finished.
