Do you ever walk into a drugstore thinking you’re ONLY going to get your essentials (AKA shampoo/conditioner) and then you walkout with a million things? Case in point: the Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm. Reading beauty blogs on a regular basis makes a girl create wish lists…LONG wish lists and the Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm happened to be one of them. Okay, so I got a little carried away…my only intention was to look at Elusive, but with such an exciting range of shades, I couldn’t help myself!
Just like the Clinique Chubby Sticks, these balms are so easy and convenient to apply while on the go. They’re not as drying as most matte lip products and the pepperminty feeling definitely helps with the dryness. Lasting power is particularly good and the pointed tip helps with applying the product more precisely. My favorite out of the bunch has to be Shameless, it’s pigmented and the color is out of this world. While I really wanted Elusive to be my favorite, it was more matte than the others and I have to apply foundation to my lips to counteract my natural pigmentation. Despite this small complaint, it’s one of the shades I reach for the most. 
Would I recommend the Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm? Yes! In fact, I’d recommend the entire Revlon ColorBurst range, they’re such a bargain and the shade range is gorgeous.
