Who doesn’t love a good budget buy? I first heard about the Rimmel Show Off Lip Lacquers from UK Beauty Bloggers (AKA Rimmel Apocalips) and was totally bummed that they weren’t available in the US. I heard nothing but raves from Fleur De Force (who is one of my FAVE all time beauty bloggers), so when these lip lacquers appeared at Walgreens, I jumped on them immediately. I stayed clear of the frosty shades (not my thing) and picked up only the creamy shades.
My lips are extremely pigmented, so I was totally impressed that with one swipe, my lips were completely covered and the color was already so vibrant. However, because they are so pigmented, I recommend using a lip liner before applying the lacquer (no one wants crooked red lips!). Also I should warn you, they do stain so proceed with caution when you apply! Every one of these shades are so flattering with my skintone and the lasting power is amazing. I’ve worn these lacquers to work and I barely have to touch up. 🙂
