Smile Brilliant Teeth Whitening Review (c/o)
It’s been about 10 years since I last seriously whitened my teeth and it’s all because of the painful tooth sensitivity I experienced last time. It didn’t matter if it was the whitening strips or professional whitening, the sensitivity was too painful and I chickened out after 1 day. :O
Despite all of this, I decided to give Smile Brilliant a shot because as an avid coffee drinker, it was starting to show on my teeth.
The Whitening Kit comes with everything you need: 3 whitening gel syringes and yes, even materials to make your own dental trays. The kit also includes detailed instructions on how to create impressions to send to the lab for custom dental trays and also how to correctly whiten your teeth.
Making the impressions took about 30 minutes to do and a week for me to receive my trays back (the kit comes with postage and a mailer!).

What I really liked about Smile Brilliant was the option to get Desensitizing Gel, which became my life savior! After each whitening session, I used my trays to apply the Desensitizing Gel and left it on for 15 minutes and didn’t eat for another 30. This gel contains fluoride and other vitamins that help with the sensitivity and it made a HUGE difference.
I whitened my teeth for 5 days, 3 hours each session and followed up with the Desensitizing Gel and had little to no sensitivity at all. If it’s your first time whitening your teeth or if you have crazy sensitive teeth, you might want to try 30 minute whitening sessions and increase from there. But since I wanted to test out how effective the Desensitizing Gel was, I kept the whitening trays in for the maximum amount of time.
How much your teeth will whiten will depend on how stained your teeth are and keep in mind that it may not work for everyone. The whitening gel simply removes stains and doesn’t alter your natural tooth color. To learn more about the product, check out their FAQ.
Thanks to Smile Brilliant, my teeth are freshened up and stain-free. I highly recommend this if you’re looking for professional whitening results without the dental price tag.
The Smile Brilliant Whitening Kit + 3 Desensitizing Gel Syringes are available for $149.85 at smilebrilliant.com.

I was actually contacted by this company last year but I was wearing Invisalign at the time so it didn’t make sense to do it. But now I want to! Glad to hear about the de-sensitivity gel!

You should!! But your teeth are already super white. 🙂 I didn’t end up using the entire kit, so it’ll be good to have on hand for touch ups if you’ve already whitened your teeth previously.
