Happy Monday!

I’m on a little break from school before I start my last semester in grad school, woo hoo!  This week, I’ve been enjoying my time off being a couch potato with lots of rest and attending a few events.

Last Wednesday, I briefly stopped by the Verge Restaurant in Los Gatos that my dear friend Monica was hosting.  The food and artisan cocktails were out of this world!

Unfortunately, that day happened to be my dad’s birthday, so I could only stay for a little bit – bummer!  But that didn’t stop me from munching on a few of the plates. 🙂

I also couldn’t help but notice Verge’s decor as well, it was swanky and trendy and totally up my alley.

The next day, Sugarfina opened up a location on Santana Row with a party.  I was honestly blown away by the girly and glam interior – everything was so instagrammable and my friends and I were nonstop taking pictures of almost everything.

I left the event with a sugar high and was laughing nonstop for the next two hours.

This past weekend, I had the honor of attending The Makeup Show‘s first event in San Francisco and got to finally meet Cassandra from DiamondsAndHeels14.

I couldn’t take very many pictures because it was insane with people everywhere, but there were some great deals from brands like Make Up For Ever, MAC, NARS, and Anastasia Beverly Hills.

To relax on Sunday, my boyfriend and I took a long stroll around Golden Gate Park and finally visited the Japanese Garden.  It was much bigger than I imagined and the garden was just what I needed to end this great weekend.
